AWARDS

The Organizing Committee is delighted to announce that Frontiers (Frontiers | Publisher of peer-reviewed articles in open access journals) will support four awards dedicated to the best scientific contributions presented at the congress. The two Best Poster Presentation Awards and the two Best Oral Presentation Awards will be assigned to recognize excellence in scientific content, originality, presentation quality and communication effectiveness. Each award will consist of a monetary prize, generously sponsored by Frontiers. Awardees will be selected by the Scientific Committee and announced during the final session of the congress.

Two awards dedicated to the best scientific contributions presented as posters during the congress.

Oral Awards

Best Oral Presentation Awards

Two awards dedicated to the best oral presentations selected for scientific content, originality, presentation quality and communication effectiveness.

Publication Opportunity

In addition, Frontiers will identify one selected contributor who will be offered the opportunity to submit a manuscript to Frontiers in Drug Discovery with publication fees waived. The manuscript will be subject to the journal’s standard editorial and peer-review process.

GRANTS

The Scientific and Organizing Committees are pleased to announce a call for grants to support participation in ItaBIC26
The grants cover the early bird registration fee and are reserved for young researchers (undergraduate students, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows), under 35 years of age, who are members for 2026 (as first selected Division) of one of the SCI Divisions sponsoring the scholarships and intend to present a scientific contribution at the Conference.

RULES

Applicants should complete the following steps no later than May 30th (June 15th for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry Division):

  1. Register through the online registration form
  2. Pay the reduced early bird registration fee
  3. Send the application

Applications should include:

  • Short scientific CV
  • Statement from the supervisor of the research or training activity confirming the position held (PhD student, research fellow, scholarship holder, etc.)
  • Copy of the abstract already submitted to the Congress email address

Grants will be awarded based on the scientific quality of the submitted contribution and on the applicant’s CV.

If selected, recipients will receive a refund of the early bird registration fee.

The list of awardees will be announced on June 15th, 2026.
